Delivery Requirements

Please note: Before placing an order the following delivery requirements need to be checked:

Clear access for a large vehicle – it is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any weight/height restrictions or narrow roads etc. which may prevent reasonable delivery. A flat area of hard-standing is required, (ie – not a slope and not gravel or loose chippings/grass) so the driver can operate the pump truck

Delivery is to kerbside only – drivers are unfortunately unable to carry material through to back gardens. If the customer requests delivery to be left on a driveway or similar, this is subject to access being available, and down to the driver’s discretion. Drivers entering customer property, either with the pump truck or with their vehicle, do so at the customer’s own risk.

Assistance on site – it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure either they, or a representative, are available on site to sign for the material. Drivers may leave goods without anybody present (at the driver’s discretion) at customer’s request, however, this will be at the customer’s own risk.

Inform us – please let us know if you have restrictions on site, or otherwise, which may prevent a delivery – we can provide a quotation for other delivery options if required.

Failed deliveries – please be aware any omission by the customer that prevents us from making a successful delivery may result in additional charges for time lost and/or repeat deliveries. Due to differing logistics, this will be charged on a case by case basis.

Returns – all items, where delivered by Seccombe Group, will incur a 25% handling charge if returned for any reason. Exceptions will be made for damage occurring during delivery, reported with three days of delivery; and for defective products. Any product sent by post/small packet courier will need to be returned at the customer’s expense.

Direct delivery – if your delivery is NOT on a Seccombe Group delivery vehicle, and any of the above requirements are not met, you must inform a sales adviser as failed deliveries may incur redelivery charges.
