It gives us pleasure to announce that from next week we will be opening the yard fully for the whole week for the first time since March. Mon – Fri. We were pleased to welcome back this week some of our missing staff which allows us a path to return to normality.
As you may already know we have continued to remain open throughout this crisis albeit in a much reduced state. We did this primarily to support our local community and our builders who were required to still be active during lockdown. We were privee to some heart warming stories and feel there are some true heroes in the building industry too. In the beginning we had the gates closed and were offering a delivery and collection service with no access to the yard. Then we were able to opened the yard on Wed to Fri which helped a little. This small change now means we are taking a further step to a return to normal and being able to provide the high level of service you would normally expect.
We are however not there yet! We are still not able to open on Saturdays and Bank Holidays and are only open till 4pm. Some of our services are still closed like timber cutting but these will start to reopen one by one as soon as we are able. The news suggests that flair ups are still possible but we will remain flexible. Our systems are such that we should remain operational whatever happens while ensuring the safety of our customers and staff.
Again we take this opportunity to thank all of our customers and staff for their support and understanding during this time and are wishing you all well.
